DIY // Re-Design Your Dresses & Skirts

I love sharing how to re-design your dresses and skirts. Today is a little video from my YouTube channel that I thought you might like. Since I can remember I have loved designing and re-designing. I actually learned to sew in the 7th grade. I first made an apron and then I attempted a yellow and pink dotted swiss puffed sleeve dress. This would have been in about 1967. Whoa….. It ended up wearable but I had to go buy more fabric because I cut the fold right down the middle. I never did that again.

Are any of you seamstresses? I sure hope it is not a dying art. I haven’t sewed in years, but maybe again someday. It is so therapeutic and there is just something about creating.

So today let’s bring out the old and create something new. I hope we get your creative juices flowing.

**Just a quick little re-design tip today. We hope you enjoyed it. Don’t have a skirt or dress to re-design? Here are a couple of links to ready made looks.
