There are many elements in building your wardrobe, so today we are going back to the basics and Everlane is a great resource for you, where they have great quality, style and pricing.
Basics are used as layering components of an outfit and Everlane has filled their fashion retail business with all kinds of great basics in several categories in mens, women’s and kids.
Everlane is not like any other online retailer or brick and mortar retailer for that matter. They do not have excessive markups for their merchandise and they share information about their factories that they use for all of their categories. I have never heard of that….in fact most companies keep their production and fabric resources top secret.
One other really unusual fact about Everlane is that they disclose their costs in all of their products. Most designers mark up their merchandise 8 X’s what it cost them. 8 X’s…..really????? If you want to read more, then you can read more about Everlane here.

SHESHE’S TIDBITS
- I guess you have noticed that I have not been posting as much this summer. First of all, I was putting too much pressure on myself to do more than my time allowed me. Therefore stress set in and I noticed my hair was thinning and a couple of other things that were a direct result of stress. Can any of you relate? I made a decision to back off a little and boy has my attitude improved. Hopefully I will see some new hair growth too.
- Next week the Nordstrom’s Super Bowl of sales begins July 13th if you are a card holder and July 21st for the public. It will last until August 6th. The good stuff goes fast, if you aren’t a card holder then you can sign up here. Next week I will be giving you my picks from the catalog and I will also be giving you my favorites all through the sale. Stay tuned.
- Last weekend I went to Los Angeles to be with over 30 bloggers from all over the country including one girl that came in from Germany. All of the women were over 50. We had a 2 parties, 2 brunches, photoshoots, videos and more in only 2 1/2 days. Please check out our Facebook page for photos of this amazing weekend.
