Part IV cruising right along into this new year

Our trip is over and I hope you enjoyed the journey. I wanted to give you some information if this is something that you would like to do.

Airlines: United, American, Delta, Jet Blue Southwest, Sky Bahamas, and a few other international carriers.

Best Air Service to/from US- Abacos, Bimini Islands, Grand Bahama (Freeport), New Providence (Nassau), Eluthera, Exuma Cays, (Stannic Cay & George Town).

High life_ Grand Bahamas (West End, Lucaya) New Providence ( Nassau, Paradise, Cable Beach, Lyford Cay)

Pretty Towns: Abacos (Hope Town) Harbor Island

Sport fishing; Abacos, Andros, Bimini Islands, Eluthera, Cat Island, Rum Cay, San Salvador

Exploring- Everywhere!

Weather- 75-80 degrees Most of the rain falls in spring & fall. Figure that the northern islands are subtropical with a Palm Beach County, Fl. climate. The central zone, still sub tropical, is more like the Florida Keys. The south low-island, similar to the northern Caribbean.

………Paradise Found……..

I have chosen some very colorful and useful items that you might consider if taking a trip on a boat or a beach destination, especially a trip to “Pig Island”.

As you can see, I love color and what better time to flaunt it is in a tropical setting. Great beach bags that would include a nice beach towel and of course sunscreen. I love the brand Obagi. It is an award winning product in its category.

Also, I highly recommend investing a water shoe. They can offer protection for your feet and are made to be worn in and around water. There are several out there on the market. I think these are functional as well as stylish.

A beautiful swimsuit cover up is a must on your trip. A tunic, caftan or a cool pull on loose pant makes for a stylish look that takes you from the beach, to a market, restaurant or a little boutique and be appropriately dressed.

Last of all don’t forget to take a wide brimmed hat with you. The sun is so intense on the water. The best for travel are the crushable ones.

Lights out on this trip and I sure hope you enjoyed it! If so, or if you have anything to comment on, I always love hearing from my readers, otherwise…..see you on another adventure!!!
