Fashionable and working it at any age

So I am not 25 any more or 35, 45, or 55. I can’t say that I am totally excited about entering my sixties before long, but there ain’t no goin’ back, so I am embracing  life with everything that I have. We can all be fashionable and working it any age!

NORDSTROM - Eileen Fisher New Arrivals

One of the reasons I am doing all of these fashion segments and acting like a model (at my age) is that I want women of any age to realize that they can still be stylish, healthy and confident no matter where they are in life. I want to be inspirational for those that lose their way, may be late bloomers, just don’t know where to start or don’t think that they can be fashionable with confidence. I just want to pump some life back in to some of you girls adding a little pinch of style to that recipe. Remember that style is really only about confidence. Just take baby steps….just believe and proceed!

Now, I am not sure what 70’s will be like for me, but I assure you that I will fight and never, never, ever give up!!I

If you have known me for a while or follow me on social medias, then you must know that I love accessories. Just read my bio……. I have loved jewelry and clothes since I was right out of the womb. I still like to be classic though and that makes me step back and look twice at my choices to make sure I am not over done. Nothing worse than ruining a beautiful outfit with too much distracting the look. Accessories should enhance the outfit!

To make this outfit go different places, just change the accessories. The large earnings would be fun for a date night or maybe lunch with your girlfriends. Put on a pearl or diamond stud at a job in a more conservative environment.  Remove the studded pumps and go with a neutral pump or a short bootie, Even a knee high boot would work. There again, it depends on where you are going.

As for skinny jeans or leggings for us older girls…… Why not???…… there are no rules here. Just make sure you cover a heavier tummy and heavier thighs with a longer shirt or a jacket. Now I believe this for any age. Some of you young girls need to learn this too.!!!

So, ladies……are you along on this ride with me? Don’t give in to the age thing. I have officially thrown that out the door for us all.

I love doing these blogs be it fashion, travel or whatever and I hope you find some little nugget in them for yourself. I always love your comments and you can subscribe to my blog for free. Every time I post then you will receive the post right in to your inbox.
