faux leather like you have never seen

It was just a few years ago that faux leather was considered cheap and you would not think of wearing it if you could have real the real thing. Well…..with technology improving over the last several years, faux leather is being used by the most haute couture fashion houses in the world.

The factories can do setting in their machines to achieve amazing designs using lasers. The dress I am wearing is very light weight and has a beautiful laser cut design. It is lined in a nude lining so that it gives the illusion of bare skin showing through. Very sexy, but also very appropriate and sophisticated.

Besides laser cut faux leather, there are a couple more trends going on here. The long below the knee silhouette (column dress) can be worn by almost anyone. For my age group, it covers the knees and thighs which gives a confident comfort zone.

This dress does not need any necklace unless you wore a medallion necklace down the back. I love the V back detail.

There are so many ways to accessorize here, I personally would make your earrings, rings and bracelets the focal point for the baubles. I would never ruin the look by wearing a chunky necklace. The dress speaks for itself!!! I chose a little edgier accessories, but the high low of pearls could be interesting and of course rhinestones or diamond would be devine.

I am wearing a nude pump, but a black pump or high heeled sandel or boot in suede or calf hair would also work. The whole point to a dress like this, is to keep it simple and elegant.

This is truely one of those dresses that I will keep for years to come. I look forward to restyling it over and over.
