a touch of whimsical

Ok, just a little insight on my style in case you haven’t figured me out yet. I love a classic look as much as anything, but I have to make myself wear my blazers. I keep buying them but end up wearing something more trendy. The one way I can over come being tooooo classic is to include some unique accessories and some cool jeans to add a touch of whimsical. Here I tripped across this absolutely adorable clutch purse by Kate Spade. They are a little pricey, but they say so much without saying anything at all and a collector piece for sure that will never go out of style.

There has been some talk in the fashion industry as to how old is too old to wear destroyed jeans. Well, I hope you know the right answer to that is……if you are comfortable wearing torn and distressed jeans then by all means wear them and at any age….it is just fine!!! I have several pair and why should I not wear trendy denim or whatever the 30 year olds are wearing. Of course, this is my opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs but, it really chaps me good when so called fashion gurus’s make claim to these fashion rules. Just what gives them the authority on that? Some times I think they are way out of touch with my generation. Just wait until they are over 40, 50, 60, or even 70. Again, everyone must choose what fits them and what they are comfortable wearing.

Now, that I am off my soap box and probably not the last time, I want you to have a little fun this summer and take one of your looks and pop it with a cool whimsical clutch or accessory. It is time to have a little fun!!
