It’s the time of year that Tootsie’s Takes Off! This is Part 1 or 2 posts that I will do between now January 17th the last day of the sale. I will be showing you some of my favorite contemporary outfits.
Today I have 4 outfits all of them are size 6’s, but there is other sizing still available. They won’t be for long so head on over if you live in Houston, Dallas , or Atlanta. Store hours are Monday thru Saturday 10am to 7pm and Sunday 12pm to 5pm You can also go to their website www.tootsies.com and contact them directly for information. Just a little history. Tootsies was started in the early seventies by Mickey Rosmarin who is still very active in all aspects of the stores. Click here to read more about Mickey and his journey in fashion.
In the early eighties I modeled for Tootsies on a regular occasion. I was one of the first group to hit the runway built over the River Oaks Country Club swimming pool. That fashion show is still a yearly event.
