Hi all and happy new week. Today I am introducing the Pantone colors of 2016, Rose Quartz & Serenity. It is usually just one color but the executive director for the Color Institute says “With our hectic lives and the frenzy around us, there is an increasing demand for tranquility.” Rose Quartz warms us with visions of beautiful sunsets, and babies cheeks while Serenity cools our soul with beautiful blue skies and crystal blue glaciers. “Wearing them together is like returning to the weightlessness of your youth.” adds the director, Leatrice Eiseman. “The combination of cool and warm color brings a sense of balance.”
For a great example of these two colors worn together, I pulled a classic light blue button down shirt and paired it with a blush pink denim jean.
