This is my fourth post in a year and a half talking about the bare shoulder trend that just keeps on going. I originally was only going to purchase a couple of off the shoulder tops for myself but now after almost 2 years I have 5 or 6 and just ordered a couple more.
In my post last summer called ‘Off the Shoulder…the Ultimate Trend I talked about why this style is so great for most any age and sizes.
- First of all it is a super sexy look without being vulgar or inappropriate.
- The shoulders are the one place on your body that doesn’t show major wrinkles.
- The upper arm on many women tends to accumulate fat on the underneath. For me, the fatty arms run in my family. Even though I am not considered overweight, I still have fuller underarms and I can feel more confident with a bare shoulder rather than a sleeveless top.
- Just about any age can do this!!! I just saw a 75 year old women wearing this look and she looked amazing!!!
Have any of you found that special top to show off your shoulders? Since this topic has been on repeat several times, SheShe Show would love to know if you have tried out this trend for yourself. If not you can check out the 50 different tops below that I found for you in a wide price range. The first group are tops under $200. Some are even under $100. The last group of tops are over $200 and go up to over $2,000. My very favorite top is the Chloe stripe silk-georgette. I just can’t bring myself to spend over $2,000 for a top, but it is absolutely beautiful.
The Tibi off the shoulder top I am wearing in this photo is on repeat from last August. It was restocked for this spring and sold out just last week before I could get this post up for you. I did link a a couple of similar tops instead.
