The year is ending… (where did it go). I will say, it was quite the year here at SheShe Show and in my personal life as well! Lots of fun and exciting things have happened and so many beautiful memories made. I am sure that 2022 is going to be an even greater year! Today I am wanting to share with you all my journey through 2021 and my plans for 2022 that include Hair Biology.
2021 in a Nutshell
This year flew by faster than I could say 2021! I will say that this year has been one of my busiest years yet! I have beyond reached the goals that I set at the beginning of every new year and that my friends, is quite the refreshing feeling. Below I am sharing with you just a few things that meant a lot to me.
When One Door Closes, Another Opens
Many of you know that Colorado has always held a special place in my heart. Also that I have had a boutique there and some fabulous homes. I even designed one all the way down to the rock detailed fireplace in Montrose. This year we sold that ranch which was a very grounding moment for me and gave me lots to reflect on. So many wonderful memories were made there with Norman and our families and friends. As that chapter closed, we ventured back to visit with some friends and we ended up buying a new home that will be completed in 2022! I have lots to do with this and I am SO looking forward to decorating it.
Self Love Is Real Love
Turning 66 and losing so many around me this year opened my eyes to reality. We’re all aging! I have never been afraid of aging but I have also never thought much about it as I don’t FEEL my age (mostly). With that being said I have spent lots of time getting to know Sheree. SheShe is always on display and I love that for me, but at times we all tend to put lots of effort into work, being a spouse, friend, boss, sister, etc., and forget to put a lot into loving ourselves. I took a short time away from it all over the summer and had a relaxing stay at one of the world’s finest hotels. During this time I spent it with myself. Taking my time, spa days, getting my nails done, and massages. It was quite a serene experience and it’s safe to say that this time is important to block out for ourselves. These times are great when we feel burnt out or just need to hit the reset button. Going forward into the New Year I will be sure to set aside time for ME!
Hair Goals
My hair has always been super important to me. After all, it’s one of the first things we notice in a person! With that being said, I will say that my hair goal journey has been long and tiresome. As a maturing woman, my hair has become thinner, I’ve suffered from breakage, and noticed that everything has dried up on this 66-year-old, including my hair. I have been using Hair Biology for a few years now, and I have seen and felt a MAJOR turn around with my hair. I am a fan of all of their products but there are a few that are my HERO products. For starters, I LOVE the Vivid & Protected line. Even my hairdresser has noticed a change! As a girl on the go, I tend to have no choice but to skip the hair salon for a few weeks sometimes! New Year, New Plans!
At the beginning of the year, I set many goals for 2021, some I thought were impossible, but hey, reach for the stars right! I’m so glad I did set those goals and I am so proud to say that I achieved them all – and then some! I am truly blessed. Setting these goals has kept me driven and has inspired me! With the New Year coming my team and I are starting something very special through…FACEBOOK! We will not share too much and ruin the anticipation but do keep an eye out for this launch and we are beyond excited to bring this new shopping experience your way! I am also planning many more trips for the New Year and this year, I did do lots of traveling around the states…I am ready to travel outside of this beautiful country and explore the stunning streets and experience the culture in others!
