Today I’m showing you my haul from the Memorial Day Target sale, but first: I must compliment my sweet husband Norman for bringing home these beautiful patriotic flowers in celebration of Memorial Day. He too served in the armed forces after college as a Captain in the Army, so this holiday is also special to him, among many other reasons!!
The blogger that I am…I was online all weekend between emptying boxes and organizing drawers and closets here in Colorado, to catch that great bargain. I do try to analyze my purchases before I press the submit button to make sure that I am not buying impulsively. Is it really something that I need….. or WANT?? You all know what I mean!!!!
Montrose, CO. is a town of about 15k in town and about 30k in the county, so we don’t have a lot of shopping options. About 8 years ago we got a Target, JC Penney’s, Petsmart, Office Depot, Home Depot on top of the ever famous Walmart. (in every small town) We all feel like we have died and gone to heaven!! No longer have to drive to Grand Junction for goods! If you summer or winter in Telluride, the shopping is on your way!!!
With all of this said……I was in Target over the weekend and spotted several pairs of sandals that actually fit me, which is not an easy feet. (pardon my French) I didn’t have time, so I decided to wait and look online, which to my surprise led me to a great online deal that wasn’t a deal in the store, but I was able to pick the merchandise up in the store. Crazy….right?
The bottom line here is…..I love my sandal haul from Target. FYI…I sized down one size, because they tend to run a little wide. I will say that I bought all of these sandals for the price of one pair of Birkenstocks, even at full price. Don’t get me wrong…l love Birkenstocks and they will last a long time, but I am just saying………when shopping isn’t Houston style or just looking for a seasonal deal, then don’t count out Target!! What would do without Target??
Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!!!
