Summer is here and I just love the freshness of navy and white. These cute little J Crew drawstring shorts are so comfy casual. They are loose fitting and you can make the fit higher on the waist or lower with the drawstring. I like to wear them just below my navel with the waistband sitting on top of my hips. For some of you, the length might seem a little short, but I will have to say unless you have large thighs, this is a very flattering length for the overall appearance of your legs. These shorts also come in a two tone neutral/off white. I also advise a spray tan for these hot months where you will be wearing more shorts and dresses.
I bought this top in Mexico recently, but I have linked a couple that are very similar. Pull the top down off the shoulders for a sexy summer look or not. It just depends on how comfortable you are with off the should tops and dresses. I will say that off the shoulder is a huge trend this season!!
Make this outfit really come alive with a pop of color. So, take any navy and white outfit and add lime yellow like I have done here or add bright red, hot pink, orange, kelly green or any bright color and you have it!! You can do this with a handbag, sandals, big earrings or bracelets.
