4th OF JULY is such a great time of year!!! I truly love red, white, & blue season. Celebrating the United States of America’s Independence while enjoying family and friends at the beach, on the lake, or right in your own back yard. Parades, food, and not to forget your favorite patriotic outfits are always so festive. I am such a dork about most holidays, because I have to dress for the occasion. My closet is like a costume department. Here I am sporting the All American look to celebrate the 4th of July season. I hope it inspires you to think about how you can show your patriotism.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be showing 3 different ways to wear and accessorize these cute drawstring shorts from J Crew. This gingham shirt that also comes in light blue, green, and pink, is the perfect classic compliment for this holiday and is on sale!!
I put a red camisole under the shirt to complete my red, white and blue patriotic look and I threw on a cute pair of similar white slip on sandals from Target that are only $24.99. You could also do a pair of white converse sneakers.
I love my J Crew Panama hat that I have worn all season. It also comes in black. I also linked a couple of patriotic bags similar to mine here and here, that would be great to top off this patriotic look. Here I am by the pool, but this look would be perfect anywhere while keeping you cool, comfortable and stylish!
