Today it’s time to color my world in pink. Support for the fight against breast cancer has turned the month of October completely pink and thank God for that!!! Support from all kinds of people and groups rally for the cause in October. Last week I went to a Dallas Cowboys football game and they had a huge display on the field with survivors and the cheerleaders wore and performed in hot pink outfits.
We are closing in on this horrific disease, but we can’t give in to it until it is complete eradicated!!! We all know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer whether it be a friend, co-worker, or family member and I prefer not to know anyone else that has to fight that battle.
I love to wear pink in October as a display of my support. I love all shades of pink, but my very favorite color is this bright, bright shocking pink. I decided to pull the outfit together by bringing in several other colors with the addition of a colorful scarf. I also added some texture and color with a natural blue pyrite necklace, blue suede sandals and a mustard colored fringe clutch. This look might be a little loud for you, but you could tone it down a notch by wearing nude or black sandals and handbag, then layer with silver or gold accessories. What ever rocks your boat!
