One of the biggest trends of this winter season is not just boots but “over the knee boots”. They started making a statement a couple of years ago worn with short dresses, skirts, leggings and skinny jeans, but now they have become a closet staple. They come in suede or calf skin leather and you can find them in mostly black but also in brown, tan and grey. The heel height is your preference. Depending on where I am going, will dictate whether I will wear a flat boot or a heeled boot. The chunky heels are showing up everywhere. They actually feel so much better on my feet than a skinnier high heel. Those stiletto days are fewer and farther between.
These boots that I am wearing in the photos is by Stuart Weitzman. This brand has been the hottest brand for boots in recent years. This style ( Highland ) has been in their line for at least 3 years now. I snagged mine last year. They are super sexy and look great on most legs. They are very elongating! Unfortunately they are so popular that they don’t put them on sale…..ever! So, you will have to annie up but the money is so worth it. They also come in a flat boot ( Lowland ) which I am saving up to get next in black.
There are some really great knock offs in the market place for much less money as well as some higher end brands. I have linked several below in my boot boutique. Some are on sale.
