Have you heard about Living Proof? If you have it is probably because Jennifer Anniston is the front and center face of this brand as well as a co-owner. You know that Jennifer’s haircut practically made her famous from her days on the tv series “Friends”. With all of that fame you know that she would not compromise or buy into a company unless she had full proof that Living Proof was indeed a game changer in the hair industry.
Founded in 2004 by a group of world class scientists and beauty experts with the main goal of challenging the traditional way of thinking about hair and hair products by creating their own molecules that would block humidity, make flat hair full, and curly hair straight. I got the opportunity recently to try out their “Perfect Hair Day” products and I too have the proof!!
Growing up I had bone straight fine hair that that was tough to get any fullness. I remember getting those old stinky perms that never did what we wanted them to do. Perms gave me kinky. ???? Now that I have gone through menopause, it was like over night and poof ….. I had very wavy almost curly hair. What????? That woman “thing” gets me every time. Better be careful what you pray for. Well, I recently was introduced to Living Proof and decided to give the products the SheShe test. With all of the humidity here in Houston, frizzy is almost every day, so trying out out products that claim they can tame this type of hair, then I was all in. They like to think of their approach “one part science” and “one part style”. ie: science + style = manageable hair?? We will see!
I decided to use the products 3 different times in 3 different weather temperatures just to see if my hair would act any differently. What I found is that my old, bleached, over styled, frizzy hair was now softer, smoother, shinier, fuller and a lot easier to style and worked much the same in all 3 climates. So, there you go, I am Living Proof that these products do what they say they will do!! New fan for sure!!
