I have been collecting clothing, accessories and home entertainment items related to patriotic themes my whole adult life and today I am adding more to my Fourth of July fashion inspirations just for you.
The Fourth of July is just a little over a week away and it is the time we all get together with family and friends to eat, drink and celebrate the birth of the spectacular country we live in. This day usually calls for back yard cookouts, poolside BBQ’s, beach picnics, or in Colorado we go to the small town parades, grab a quick bite and then to the amazing mountain fireworks.
We never know if we will be in Houston or Colorado, but we will be in Colorado this year and I am still in a quandary about what to wear. I guess I first need to know where we will be and who we will be with. Hmmm…… We have a few options…… I personally like to lay low these days, especially in Colorado. That being said, I will probably opt for something denim, either a skirt, dress, or crop jeans with a patriotic top and coordinating accessories. It is hot here during the day but, like the desert, and it cools down a lot in the evenings.
If you are wanting a little more glam look, then this dress is the ticket. It is totally casual, but you can wear it anywhere. Dress it up or dress it down. It is a little bare, but it is almost 100 degrees so I just say go for the cool and the comfortable.
