Thanksgiving is my very favorite time of year and as I join my family for a wonderful day of food, football and fellowship, I can’t help but by giving thanks for so many things.
- First of all that I am still alive. It seems that every year as we grow older that we lose a friend or family member. This year we have lost several people and it saddens my heart. I am so grateful for my healthy life.
- I am grateful for my husband of 23 years. He always loves to visit my home in Tennessee, support my Tennessee Vols, hang out with my family which means so much to me. Every now and then he will reluctantly will help me take photographs for the blog. He is no pro but he gets an A for effort. I could go on and on why I am so blessed to have him in my life. Love you very much Norman.
- I am so very grateful for my 2 sisters, their families and my almost 83 year old mother. She is the sweetest woman on the planet. I lost my dad almost 10 years ago, but he is never too far from my thought. Family is everything to me!!!
- I am grateful for Normans 2 daughters and our 6 gown up grandchildren. Norman’s girls are more like sisters to me than daughters, but if any one messes with them then I can for sure be a bad ass ‘mama bear’. We have 5 handsome grandsons and one beautiful granddaughter. Four of them are in college and the other 2 are now out and making their way through the real world. They are so much fun to hang out with. If I ever need a date to something and Norman doesn’t want to go then I can always depend on one of them to be my escort.
- I am so grateful and blessed that I live in the greatest country in the world, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!
- I am grateful that I have had such and exciting life. I have had several great careers and traveled so much . Life is just not long enough to do everything that I want to do. I have so much more on my bucket list, so I try to always remind myself that there is no finish line.
- I hate to bring up materialistic things that I am thankful for but hey, I can’t help but give thanks for my homes, big closet full of clothes, pretty baubles and so much more. I have to always be mindful that it could all go away at any given moment and not let the world of stuff rule my world and in my new career of blogging it is very hard to keep grounded.
- That being said, there are wonderful things about blogging that I am so grateful for and that is all of the new friends that I have made over the last 2 1/2 years. This platform allows me to share so much and for the life of me I do hope that I am offering tidbits of life that just might help one of you. So, my friends if you are reading this then just know that I am giving THANKS that I have you in my life.
Wherever you are today, we here at SheShe Show wish you a beautiful and blessed THANKSGIVING DAY!!
