Is your bathroom a mess, unorganized and cluttered? If so this post is all about organizing your bathroom! This is a great project for you guys. From closets to cabinets we’ve got it covered!
10 Tips to Organize Your Bathroom
Below are our top 10 ways to organize your bathroom. Keeping your bathroom organized not only makes getting ready easier but also makes this space much more relaxing as it should be.
1. File Box Organizer for Hair Tools
Place wall hooks on the side of your sink to hang up this file box, which is the perfect size for storing your go-to hair tools. I have to use a drawer because my vanity goes wall to wall.
As you can see below, I used these floral plastic baskets for assorted hair care needs. It doesn’t look very neat and organized but trust me it is so much better than it was before.
2. Organize Your Drawers
Maximize your small space by placing your bathroom items in plastic dividers. Sort your items by categories (vitamins, cold medicines, band-aides, etc.) and everything will be easier to find when you are getting ready.
3. Cosmetics Organizer
A cosmetics carousel or organizer is great for organizing because it will not take up much room and keep the digging around at bay. Since these spin around they are perfect for those everyday goto products. If you have enough counter space this makeup organizer is perfect!

4. Purge the Expired
Going through my cabinets (especially medicine), I discovered I have been holding onto extremely old products. From medicines to shampoos check the expiration dates! You’ll be amazed at all of the new space you have. Don’t flush those pills and liquids down the toilet, they could end up in our water supply! Instead, empty them into a large zippered plastic bag filled with dirt or cat litter, and throw it out with your regular trash.
5. Have a Caddy for Your Most Used Products
One great way to keep your cabinets clean and from getting messy again is to keep a caddy with all of your daily essentials in it. When getting ready or out of the shower reach for your caddy and all of your favorites are there without having to dig around!
6. Group Like Items
I have found that finding things is easier now that I have everything separated by what kind of product it is. Keep eye creams together, moisturizers, serums, etc. with like products and you will never find yourself digging and mixing things up.

7. Sliding Wire Shelves
Put roll-out wire shelves in your cabinets to make the most of your small space. Use the second sliding track to hold frequently used items.
8. Useful Bathroom Furniture
I know I sit at my vanity daily, several times a day actually. A great way to add extra storage if you are running low, is to include furniture that can be used for storage. Instead of a chair in your bathroom, try an ottoman or add a chair with storage for extra storage.
9. Glass Containers for Storage
Store your cotton balls, q-tips, cotton swabs, etc. in glass containers, not only is this chic but it saves space! Switching to glass is also much better for the environment!

10. Baskets!
Almost everything in my bathroom now has a basket! Also, finding things in my bathroom is much more manageable. I am no longer fumbling around cabinets and drawers. Instead I simply pull my basket out and find exactly what I was looking for. This basket is the one I used.
