There were so many trends in 2021, some we should ditch and others that I will be carrying with me through this year. One thing about trends that I do not like is that they are in and out, sometimes so fast that I don’t have time to hop on it! I am sharing with you all 5 trends that I really enjoyed and will be seeing some more!
Western Wear Trends
As a girl in Texas, naturally – I LOVE the western wear trends! The boots, denim, cowboy hats, belts, even accessories make me a very happy girl. Last year (especially towards the end), we saw TONS of western styles incorporated into fashion. I have always been a lover of cowboy boots and this year we are going to see them with a kick of flare!
Feathers
We saw some feathers last year and now were are seeing them EVERYWHERE! I am eyeballing this super trendy top, but frankly, I am unsure because I’m afraid I’m too busty for it! What do you girls think? The feather trend is fun and flirty! I am excited to see and experiment with this one for sure!
Faux Leather
Faux leather is an easy trend for me and one I don’t think is going away anytime soon! We used to see it with moto-jackets and handbags, now faux leather is everywhere! Joggers, sneakers, cute tops, and even skirts! I think this is a super chic trend and I’m curious how it’s going to transition to spring as it seems like it will carry on through the season.
Regular + Wide-Legged Jeans
We “old ladies” can thank the much younger generation for this one! With all of the 90’s fashion making a strong comeback straight and wide-legged jeans are popular! That means we can stop squeezing into those skinny jeans and swap for something more comfortable!
Electric Colors
As a lover of color, the electric colors that are making a roar excite me the most! Throughout fall we saw bright colors everywhere and it appears as we will wear them for the warmer seasons as well! If you are shy to bright colors, you can still be bold by doing a bright shoe, handbag, or accessory!
