We were able to preview The Nordstrom Sale on the 29th, fashion has definitely pivoted with everyone getting used to being home. With that being said my picks this year are focused more on what I will wear often and investment pieces…mostly what I will wear more. Scroll below for my picks and what I am eyeballing!
Athleisure + Lounge
Loungewear and athleisure have become rather popular these days. Which makes it such a great item to snag during the sale. I have been obsessed with these Live In Pocket Joggers and these High Waist Studio Lite Pocket 7/8 Leggings by Zella and this is the lowest you can get throughout the year. You can never go wrong with those cozy loungewear pieces you will wear daily around the house like this Barefoot Dreams Open-Front Wrap.
Nordstrom Tops
Farm Rio is included in the sale this year and I COULD NOT be a happier girl! This beautiful Toucans Lace Inset Balloon Sleeve Cotton Blouse has my heart and this Spring Bananas Cotton Blouse will be in my cart ASAP! The Meant To Be Floral Cotton Blouse is a great transitional top and I think a Faux Leather Shirt Jacket, is a MUST for every wardrobe!
Nordstrom Bottoms
For pants I am loving these Faux Leather Wide Leg Pants, they are so chic and sleek all while keeping it laidback and cool. I think we will be seeing brown replacing black this season so that is a bonus too. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings will be in the sale and are always a great piece to get.
Denim
Denim is where I like to spend my money at. Designer and luxury denim is worth every penny and this sale is the time to get it at its best price! Veronica Beard makes beautiful jeans with a made-to-fit feel to them, I love these Beverly High Waist Skinny Flare Jeans. These Cassie High Waist Straight Leg Jeans from Pistola are great to get that trendy ’90s vibe!
Dresses + Jumpsuits
Dresses are always a great seller during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, most of these dresses are transitional and will take you from summer to fall to winter seamlessly! This Floral Print Tie Neck Midi Dress has won me over, it goes well with booties, cowgirl boots, and even sneakers!
Shoes
Can a girl have too many shoes? I think not. This year I noticed we aren’t seeing many heels and if we do, they aren’t super tall. I’m loving the P448’s Cancun Sneaker, this stunning Savanahh Sandal, and this Fleur Pointed Toe Mule is my predicted shoe that will trend throughout fall!
Nordstrom Sale Jackets, Coats, + Cardigans
Being in Texas it’s hard for me to even imagine buying a heavy coat right now. With that being said, I also keep in mind that I will eventually need a heavier coat for those short weeks of blistering coldness. What better time to get one than while the best coats are on super sale? I love this colorful Shawl Collar Coat, for a casual one – this Daydreamer Cardigan. While in Paris I noticed a lot of dusters were popular – Nordstrom has this beautiful Nature Mystic Velvet Duster on sale!
Accessories
Intimates + Pajamas
This is a great time to refresh those undergarments and jammies! I love Natori and have been a Natori girl for almost my whole life, so this is the time I tend to refresh my bras!
Beauty
If I had to choose only 5 items from the Nordstrom Sale, one would include the RIKI 10X Skinny Lighted Mirror – a bright LED mirror including magnifying and phone-clip attachments so you can do detailed looks or take selfies and videos—no filter needed. The lighting is AMAZING, worth every dollar, and makes for a great gift!!
