Here we are….hot…vacations….holidays…pool….lake….beach and my bestie this summer is the maxi dress. In fact I have been collecting summer maxi dresses for a few years. As they get older, I make house dresses out of them. If you have not made a maxi dress purchase this season, then now is the time. There is still some pretty good inventory left and many websites are having great sales. This dress is available in 3 colors and only $79. It also runs true to size. It has a little high low hemline with a nice back detail. I give this dress a definite thumbs up.
I chose to accessorize this dress with bright trendy jewelry. The acid fringe necklace comes in other colors and can be worn with so many different looks. As you know, I love the crossbody bags. I like to carry a tote bag in my car and slip my crossbody out for running into stores on errarnds.
I love the wedge sandal and these are so comfortable. You can get the lift you need without ruining your feet.
Now, I will probably get questions about my hair style today.. I have in my collection several hairpieces that I wear a lot in the summer. As I have gotten older my hair texture has changed drastically and Houston’s summer humidity doesn’t work very well for me. The hair piece I am wearing here is a clip on pony tail. I also have a hair scrunchie that I have worn in several of my blog posts. Now, I have spilt the beans, but maybe a hair piece could save your hair look on a hot humid day.
