Today’s look photographed in my home town of Maryville, Tennessee, is my go to summer dress because of the ease of wearing and great style. The kaftan has been a key player in fashion this year and will carry on through the fall made in deeper colors. This Gabriella dress by Elaine Turner comes in this beautiful blue and also coral. The length might be a little on the short side if you are over 5’7″. It all depends on your comfort level with your hem lengths. I am 5’8′ and it is border line for me. The great thing about this dress is that it hides a multitude of sins….like a fluffy tummy. This kaftan could also be worn as a tunic over skinny jeans or pants.
I love the gold detail around the neck. It makes it easy to accessorize. I chose the Elaine Turner Kira tassel necklace and the Elaine Turner Jackie Bamboo hoop earring. My clutch is the beautiful Brenna Carnival Python clutch. I love the new fold over look of the clutch bag this season.
There are so many shoe options with the dress, but today I went with these Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals. Because of the length of the dress I wanted to stay with a low heel or no heel at all. To finish my look I chose an Essie nail polish called Borrowed and Blue.
