It’s that time of year that the invitations start coming in for holiday parties. Be it an office party, a couples party, hosting a dinner party, a fundraiser, a family affair or a group of your favorite girlfriends, deciding what to wear is always a dilemma. I pulled together a stylish but comfortable look that could work for any of these parties during the holiday season.
First of all, the sequin pants are really trending. I have seen several designers do this look. They can also be worn with a tuxedo jacket in white or black that makes for a dressier look or add a beautiful cashmere fuzzy sweater in white, black or red for a holiday dressed down look.
The red tuxedo blouse looks great here, but would also work over a pair of skinny jeans in black, blue, or white denim. I think this strappy sandel best suits these pants, so the side detail of the pants can best be seen. Add a beautiful clutch in black or maybe gold or silver, depending on your accessories. I have a black earring, so I chose the black lace clutch to add some texture.
Finally, I added a black sequin scarf that is really a belt that came off of some palazzo pants to add some interest. Do not limit your clothes and accessories in your wardrobe to just one outfit. Break the outfits up and be creative.
