Well, my beach days are over and now were are at our river ranch in Colorado, trying to beat the heat. Time to transition into fall. The weather here is awesome!! We have been coming here for over 20 years. Most people think that Colorado is for skiing, but I will say that the summers are the very best!! Hiking, biking, sightseeing but the best is the fishing, especially since our place is on the Uncompahgre River. My husband has been catching big trout right in our back yard.
If you didn’t already know, I also once owned a ladies boutique, SheShe Boutique and Gallery that I opened 10 years ago. After wearing down from running a business from another state, I was fortunate to sell the business 4 years ago. I am still the land lord and also still get to do some consulting.
Even though it is really hot in most of the country, fall is nipping at our heels. All of the fashion stores and websites are having huge sales with major mark downs, so they can move out that summer merchandise to make room for fall merchandise.
As I think about fall, I like to pick up cute printed tops that are still light weight, but with fall colors. In Texas we will have 90 degree temps through mid October sometimes, so heavier fall pieces are not even considered until November or later.
I am wearing a top and necklace from www.lizandhoney.com . This is a great little fashion website that offers very stylish clothing for very affordable prices. You really should click on the link and check out some of their cute fall styles. This top is a small, so it runs true to size and I am normally a size 6 if that helps with deciding on a size and it is only $19.99. Yes, that’s right……$19.99!! I always recommend checking the site fit charts as some styles don’t run true to size. I love the green and tan with the open peep sleeve!! This top can be styled in several different ways and layered up in colder temps. Since suede is a huge trend for fall, it was the perfect top for this suede skirt that I already had in my closet. I am wearing a neutral sandal, but as it gets cooler I will wear a cute bootie or boot. So, like I said…..very versatile!
I linked some other printed tops below that will be great for you to wear transitioning from summer brights to the warm hues of fall. Look for more transitional looks soon on SheSheShow in the coming weeks!!
