One of the most beautiful places in Texas is the Bee Creek river bed, a tributary off of Lake Travis near Austin, Texas. Norman and I purchased this place 4 years ago and remodeled the house. I will be posting before and after photos of the house and guest house in January when this busy holiday season comes to an end.
Bee Creek, when there is no drought, is always full of beautiful clear crystal water that actually has fish swimming in out of the little pools. The rocks all melt together to create a most beautiful scene. We have a 6 ‘ swimming hole right behind our house that holds water even when we don’t have much rain. I love to hike up and down this creek with our without water…….beautiful in either setting!
A cool sweater weather November weekend in Austin is always cherished, so that we can pull out our fall clothes for a causal, comfortable stylish outfit.
I love this years take to on an always classic design…. plaid. Did you see ‘Mad About Plaid’ a few post ago? This scarf is large and woven and it can be tied in so many ways. You could even fold it into a triangle and wrap and tie it around your hips over leggings with boots for another look. Find your red sweater, leggings and boots and add a great plaid scarf to create this look during the Christmas Holidays.
It almost feel like the Clydesdale Horses will be trotting by any minute!
