Here I am at the end of my little Florida getaway. Norman and I squeezed in a lot in just 3 days. We looked at 3 boats, ate at some great restaurants, flew across the state and toured Boca Grande Island and managed to squeeze in some beach time. We were really not ready to leave, but we will go back to hopefully close a deal on one of these boats.
When I travel I like to be comfortably cute. In other words, I will not get on a plane in a t-shirt and shorts. Sometimes I just don’t know what to think about the travelers and what they wear on the airplane.
It is either too hot or too cold on the planes, so I prepare for both temps. Here I am wearing a nautical look with a light weight parka if I need it. I am glad I took the parka because it was cold the entire flight and when we got to Houston, the weather was much cooler, so it once again came in handy.
I also make sure that I have comfortable shoes to wear while traveling. We always do a lot of walking in the airports so comfort is a must. I recently found these mid wedge sandals at the Elaine Turner store in Houston. I liked them so much that I bought them in black as well. These nude wedges are great because they will go with just about everything.
I cannot wear flat flat shoes anymore unless I wear an arch support inside and this little wedge gives me a little support as well as a lot of style.
This spring navy is the new black. I found this outfit in January for my Bahamas trip and it worked perfect for this trip as well. There are so many other ways to style this outfit and it will be a classic staple for seasons to come.

I will be headed to Isla Majares, Mexico in a few weeks with my long time travel group the YaYa’s. Isla Majares is an island just off the coast of Cancun. From Houston Cancun is just a short flight and then we will take a boat to the island. I can’t wait to share that journey with you. Happy Spring!!!!! Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on it’s way……
