romantic rodeo

Well…..this is the last weekend of Rodeo Houston. I went 4 times and I now have my cowgirl fix until football season starts at The Texas Longhorn Stadium. I have eaten BBQ, loaded baked potatoes, tacos, cotton candy, ice cream, peanuts, popcorn, and so much more. It is a wonder I didn’t gain 10 pounds. I did however rock a romantic rodeo look, I want to tell Y’ALL all about it!

I shopped, drank, and watched a lot of cowboys get their butts whipped on wild broncos and bulls. I also saw some awesome entertainment and my favorite this year was Pitt Bull. I took 7 girlfriends in a limo as part of my birthday celebration and we danced in the aisles the whole time he was on stage.

If you have been following this blog for the last 3 weeks, then you have seen my rodeo fashions. I did “rocker rodeo”, “boho rodeo’ and I am calling this outfit “romantic rodeo”. I have been collecting turquoise jewelry for years. Turquoise will go with just about anything you wear with it.

The nights in early march are still a little cool, so I took my leather jacket to layer over the lace dress……. topping off this “romantic rodeo” look.
