Welcome to part two of the Kaftan series. Today’s look photographed in front of this amazing mural in my home town of Maryville, Tennessee. It depicts the outdoor life in the Great Smokey Mountains. Camping, fishing, picnicing are some of my favorite memories growing in this area. So special to me!!

This dress is my go to summer look because of the ease of wearing and great style. The kaftan has been a key player in fashion this year and will carry on through the fall made in deeper colors. This print in the Lainey dress by Elaine Turner so yummy and in Houston I can wear this through the transitional season between summer and fall. The length isn’t as short as the kaftan that I showed the other day, so most of you could wear this with great confidence. The great thing about this dress is that it hides a multitude of sins….like a fluffy tummy. This kaftan could also be worn as a tunic over skinny jeans or it is very cute belted. I have done it with a skinny belt as well a a wide wrap belt. It is an easy dress to accessorize. I chose a silver and turquoise necklace that I have had for a long time, but I found a great necklace for you that has the same look. My clutch is by Gigi New York They will monogram your initials on most of their styles. This Uber clutch comes in many colors and it also comes in the smaller size called the All In One. I like both sizes. Right now they have a sale on summer styles and colors.
There are so many shoe options with the dress, but today I went with the Elaine Turner Elyse Stone Boa lace up pump. It also comes in a beautiful solid orange color. To finish my look I chose an Essie nail polish called Borrowed and Blue.
