We’ve come a long way baby!! Yes, the fight attendant in the above photo is me in the mid 80’s. Did you notice the bag on the wheels? A little dated right? Those were the days my friends. Air travel has drastically changed, some for the good and some not so good. One thing for sure is that we can not live without the luxury of flying. We are such a mobile society. And another for sure – we can all use the travelers ultimate gift guide!
I have spent much of my life in an airplane. I started out as a flight attendant right out of college and then became a commercial pilot for several years, so I can say with confidence that I just might be an expert traveler. Please enjoy one of my first blog post My Aviation Journey.
I could pack everything I could possibly need for 3 or 4 days into a bag like the one above in the photo. After I met my husband Norman, that started changing. He would pack several bags for a trip so I said heck fire I might as well do the same. I can teach how to pack efficiently, but I might not set the example. Do what I say, not what I do. Ha!
One great thing about traveling today is the market place is full of great products to make your life away from home a little more pleasant. I have really had fun searching out these products. I even discovered a few new things that I just ordered.
