How about these adorable Flamingo sandals? I just couldn’t resist them sense flamingo’s are now part of the SheShe Show brand! You are going to see a lot of flamingo’s coming up!
Oh my goodness, someone said to me “I heard it was your birthday”!! Could it be already??? It seems like I just celebrated my B-I-G 6O with you guys. Hmmmm, ok so it is!! As much as I hate to see the numbers ticking upwards, I will say that the alternative would be not so good. With that said I am thankful to be alive, healthy, still feisty, still doing photoshoots like I am some kind of famous model and married to a great man!! Life is soooo good!! Oh and I have all of you amazing new friends through the SheShe Show!!
Being born in March is so cool, especially if you are a fashionista. I loved my birthday because my mom would always give me cute new spring outfits. I grew up in Tennessee and March 8th was the signal to ring out the old dull winter clothes and bring out the new cute spring fashions. Can anyone relate?? I am ready and believe me I will be wearing a new frock on my birthday!!
As most of you already know, I am a colorista as well!!! You will rarely see me in all black. Not that I don’t like it, but it doesn’t feel like me. Today I have teamed up with www.shabbyapple.com wearing my favorite hot pink color in this very easy to wear dress. This dress has a lot of stretch, which makes it so comfortable. It runs true to size too! Please check out Shabby Apple. They have great skirts and dresses for very affordable prices but with an upscale look. This Nutcracker pink dress has been reduced to only $64.20. It also comes in blue for $109 and green for $106. I also did a look last year from Shabby Apple here and here. Remember the beige tulle skirt blog post late last summer and the long maxi skirt in October?
In the south March is when all of the trees and flowers start budding out. New life!!! It is the absolute best time in the city of Houston, TX. For those of you who live further north or have cooler climates and maybe still experiencing some snow, I can rest assure you that spring is knocking on your door, so you better be thinking about your new spring frocks!!
And yes “I heard it was my birthday”, it really is here and I am soon headed out in a limo with a few girlfriends to see Miranda Lambert at Rodeo Houston and start celebrating which will go on for the rest of March!!! Yesssssss!!!
How do you celebrate your birthday’s???? I would love to know in the comments box!
