Welcome to Pope’s Plant Farms in Greenback, Tennessee. This little country town is just down a fer piece from where I grew up in Maryville, Tennessee. Maryville is just southeast of Knoxville and only about 20 minutes away from the famed Blackberry Farm and Gatlinburg where all of those horrible fires were. It has been very devastating for this area. No 1 is because many of these people who lost their homes and businesses live modestly, making it so much more difficult to recoup their losses. Some may never get back to where they were. Please pray for these families during this holiday season.

Christmas time is by far the best time to get and to give luxury gifts. It is the one of the few times during the year where we ask for that special something. I haven’t really asked for anything this year. We are in the middle of a refresh at out 16 year old home. We are painting, replacing a few appliances and refurnishing our living, breakfast, dining, study and master areas. This all being sad, I feel like this is my Christmas present. I will hit the hubs up for Valentines Day or my March birthday!! Ho Ho Ho!!

This skirt is the perfect holiday piece. Take away the red and add hot pink or bright yellow with a colorful sandal then voila, a different look for spring. It does run small, so size up.
I love this light weight cashmere sweater and guess what…..it comes in 12 beautiful colors. It is now 40% off which puts it under $100. Yes, under $100 and it’s cashmere. It would be worth it to purchase more than one color.
I bought these over the knee boots last year and I also have them in a light taupe. The heel is not too high making them very comfortable. Oh and by the way, I was just rechecking sizes available and noticed that they are now on sale at 20% off and all of the sizes are in stock. I don’t recall ever seeing this boot reduced before Christmas. Don’t you just love these green bubble earrings? They were sold out but again, I saw that they just popped up back in stock and with several other colors for you to choose from. I think that you can get hot pink, bright blue, white and yellow.
My furry clutch is a great knock off of a Loeffler Randall bag that retails for over $400. I found this one that is similar
I have had this white fringy knit scarf for a long time, but I found this one that is almost identical.
Last but not least the green cashmere gloves. I personally think that they make the entire outfit. Green is so big this year and they are on sale too.
Oh and one more thing…..don’t forget your red lipstick. No other option. YSL makes the best red lipstick on the planet. I have been wearing it since I modeled in the 80’s.
