LOOK #1
In order to make this look work for my blog business, I would take this tweed jacket with studs and pair it with leather pants or black jeans. This will give this classic jacket an edgy look that I could wear to the shows at New York Fashion Week, meetings with brands, store events or date night with the hubs.
I took a leopard bustier top that I already had and put it under the jacket and added my own belt to make a more fitted look.
A suede pump or bootie works perfect and if you have a pair of over the knee boots, then it would add that extra edge.
To finish this look, I added the black beret. I bought 3 berets this year in white, black and a black with pearls. They are so chic….don’t you think? I also chose a large gold hoop earring, but a large pearl stud would give it that couture look.
And don’t forget the statement handbag. I am such a bag girl, so adding a designer bag elevates the entire outfit. There are many great designer dupes out there. I love this bag and also this one.

Do you work in a conservative office? Are you an attorney, banker, executive, etc? This look will definitely get the respect of your piers as well as come off classically stylish. It screams strong, ambitious and successful! There is something about dressing for success and this look has it nailed.
Again wearing the tweed blazer with studs, but now pairing it with the boot skirt with studs. I love this skirt so much. It reveals just enough leg to give a little sex appeal without compromising your business status.
I chose this gold camisole to layer underneath, but you could definitely wear a black one, a white blouse. or turtleneck sweater for colder climates.
This leopard pump or even a black bootie would still be conservative but yet stylish. If I worked in this environment, I would never give up adding that extra fashionable flair to my look.
When accessorizing a business look, I do recommend keeping the accessories to a minimal. Number one, bracelets can get in your way while working on the computer and other large jewelry can be a distraction. Save those great pieces for your date nights or girls night out.

Finally, we took just the boot skirt with studs and made it more of the Lady Who Lunches look. This outfit is great if you are involved in your community, lunching with girlfriends, interior designer or any other profession or activity that allows you to be more fashionable and/or relaxed.
There are so many tops and sweaters that you could wear with this skirt. You might even layer it up with a burgundy leather moto jacket or velvet bomber jacket.
Here I decided to wear my OTK boots (over the knee), but a sexy suede sandal, pump or bootie would also be so fab. Here is where you can amp up your accessories and statement handbag.
