As we are moving towards the end of winter, we all get excited about everything new from new grass, new leaves on the trees and new blooms, so it is only natural that we want new clothes to freshen up our wardrobes. We have been watching the trends and we have found 5 that are consistent with several designers and street style trend setters. We have also curated our top 25 spring tops.
Spring Trends 2018
- Go Bold I am so excited that monochromatic or color block saturated hues are prominent. If you don’t know me by now, then know that I love bold colors. Just look at our photos today!!
- Satin & Shine If you have been with us here on SheSheShow for a while, then you know that we have talked a lot about sparkle & shine. This spring we are seeing a lot of satin for day and for night. It’s fluid, feminine and comfortable characteristics, makes it an easy choice for day to night looks.
- Mixed Prints I have finally gotten used to this trend that has been going on for a few years. This spring we are seeing a lot of polka dots mixed with bold floral prints as well as stripes. Get playful and make your life a playful and vibrant life.
- Pastels On the flip side of these bold options, you might prefer pastels. It has been a while since we have seen a lot of romantic pastels, but I am loving the fresh looks popping up everywhere this spring. There is just something very feminine and lady like about pastels.
- Utilitarian Zippers and pockets….can we talk about the busy woman today…..this trend is perfect for the woman on the go.
Some other spring trends are return of tulle, Japanese inspiration with my favorite, the “kimono”, transparencies or the allure of wearing very little, elevated denim looks as well as fringe ( which I love ), anoraks (practical), lace still going strong and anything that proudly states good ole USA (red, white, and blue).
So, there you have it!! Lot’s of options that I know you will definitely find a trend that fits your personality. I also dare you to try one new trend this season. Come on girls…..step out of that box….be fierce and be bold!!

SHESHE’S TIDBITS
- Guess what next week is????? SheShe has another birthday!! When do they start slowing down? They are flying at me so fast these days. I have no big plans…..we have a lot of birthdays in our family this week, so I usually combine birthday celebrations. It’s just not a big deal anymore. I am just glad to be alive and healthy!! I will keep you posted if anything fabulous gets planned.
- Just trying to keep my head above water this week with all kinds of things going on……laying low this weekend and taking it easy after having cataract surgery yesterday. I had the other eye done a month ago. I am so excited to have great vision again. Can anyone relate?
