It’s a countdown to Christmas with 6 days to go. Yes, 6 days to go and my family Christmas is Saturday with a gift exchange and dinner at our house. Oh my and I still have so much to do. For Christmas Norman and I are flying up to our ranch near Abilene for a quiet country Christmas and return before New Year’s Eve. So in case you are going out for a New Years Eve party and haven’t had time to plan your outfit yet then we have covered. We have curated our top New Years Eve looks for you.
There are so many ways to celebrate the new year. When we were younger we most always went to a party. Now I am happy to stay home to eat, drink a couple of toddies and watch football. However, if a big invite to some swainkienda soiree arrives in the mailbox then I am all over it because this fashionista loves to doll up and step out.
I absolutely love dressing up some during the holidays so when I do I love to spice it up a little. After all, it’s New Year’s Eve. We all have our comfort zones so we pulled together some great dresses, jumpsuits and a few separates that would be perfect for most fashion tastes at any dressy event. The boutique at the end of this post are dresses that you can accessorize with over the top statement jewelry or keep it simple with a pair of diamond or pearl studs.
The dress I am wearing in these photos screams pearls or diamonds in a linear fashion and it also comes in a blush color and cobalt priced under $150. No bows on the ears or necklace at the neck because there is already a large floral detail at the shoulder. That is your main accessory! You could wear a black suede pump like I am wearing or you could add some glitz with a silver or gold pump or sandal.
