The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming to an end soon, so we wanted to update you all on what I bought and what I sent back and why! Read on below for all of the details! Happy shopping ladies!!

What I Bought at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
As usual, there is a lot to choose from this year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I have been very selective with my purchases. A lot has changed as far as fashion goes because of Covid, so this year I chose pieces I would get a lot more use out of. I have them all below!
Nordstrom Tops
Bottoms
During the sale, I always think a great choice is going to be denim! High-end jeans are always a good decision and the best time to get them is on sale. I did get these Veronica Beard jeans, these Cindy Ripped Straight Leg Jeans, and these Button Fly Mom Jeans. I also picked up these Faux Leather Trousers, and cannot wait for fall to rock them!
Dresses
There were not a ton of dresses that I felt I HAD to have. But there were some I was WILD about! This Long Sleeve Faux Leather Shirtdress is definitely a FAVE and affordable! I felt like a total babe in it.
Shoes + Accessories
Shoes are always a great decision when it comes to the Nordstrom sale. Every year I like to pick out some shoes that are either great investment pieces OR always on trend! Either way, I am guaranteed to get great use out of them. After wearing a much cheaper bootie – that was a hit, I decided to purchase these Veronica Beard booties! I tried them on and fell instantly in love with the fit, texture, and look of them. Veronica Beard does NO wrongs when it comes to fashion in my eyes. For a budget-friendly bootie, I chose these. I love a tall boot, this Vince Camuto Afelia Knee High Boot was my pick from the sale! You can wear it high or even scrunch it! I also chose this cute sneaker! It’s giving me Golden Goose vibes with a hint of sparkle but not near as expensive.
What I Sent Back to Nordstorm
I sent back one thing this year…these Ex-Boyfriend Relaxed Slim Jeans. For $150 on SALE they did not impress me at all. First, for the price, you would expect them to be your new fave. Not so much. I have a booty…with that being said, these jeans made my backend look flat, saggy, and practically nonexistent! Immediately I knew I HAD to send them back. They were not like the photos. The pockets sat below the bottom, so I would say avoid these if you can. AG normally is one of my favorite brands as far as denim goes so I was super disappointed.
I also sent back these jeans by Rag and Bone. Again, I usually always love this brand for jeans but the rise was just a little too low on me. I like a mid rise but these were more like a low rise.

SHESHE’S TIDBITS
Well, this week is flying by so fast. We are back on Sanibel for 2 more weeks. The weather has been so stormy and rainy, but should improve soon. For the first time in several weeks I feel like I can catch my breath, catch up on work and relax. Even though we just had a little vacation, I always have to take time to rest from the vacation. Why is that? Anyway, I am soaking up the end of summer on the island.
