Oftentimes, we think just a good brush, floss, and swish is enough for our oral health. Well, I have discovered a brand named Probiora Health that I want to share with you all that I am excited to be trying! This is a journey for me, and I will be sharing all the details with you.
What Are Oral Care Probiotics?
ProBioraPlus is an oral-care probiotic mint that you take 1x per day, and it is designed specifically to support the health of your teeth and gums and works to maintain a healthy balance of bacteria within the mouth. Gum disease, cavities, and chronic bad breath are all the result of bad bacteria. Oral-care probiotics work to crowd out bad bacteria and replace them with good bacteria.
Why I Am Taking ProBiora
ProBioraPlus is an oral-care probiotic mint that supports and maintains good oral health. The mint contains 3 strains of healthy bacteria that are already native to the mouth, including Streptococcus oralis KJ3®, Streptococcus uberis KJ2®, and Streptococcus rattus JH145®. These dentist-recommended oral care probiotics are made with 100% natural ingredients, which is a major plus, to get the job done safely.

My Gum Pockets
This is a chart that I received from my dentist on my current gum pockets. In a healthy mouth, the pocket depth is usually between 1 and 3 millimeters (mm). Pockets deeper than 4 mm may indicate periodontitis. Pockets deeper than 5 mm cannot be cleaned well. I want to point out that I discovered that I have really good gum pockets but there are a few that could benefit from using ProBiora. WebMD.com also reports that “researchers know there’s a synergic relationship between oral health and overall wellness. Gum disease is linked to a host of illnesses including heart disease, diabetes, respiratory disease, osteoporosis, and rheumatoid arthritis.”. This is where my journey begins to take better care of my oral health with ProBiora. I will be sharing this journey with you all over the next 6 months so keep checking back for more. I cannot wait to see the improvement.
