Valentine’s Day is around the corner and it is a day where we treat and love the ones we adore the MOST! What about ourselves?! Daily we give so much of ourselves to caring and loving others that we often overlook caring and loving ourselves! Today we are showing you 5 ways to love yourself. You deserve it!

Get Cozy!

Not every year we feel like forcing the shapewear and putting on that dreaded lingerie! I know I don’t! Why not treat yourself to something warm and cozy like a new set of feminine jammies and some slippers? Nothing feels better than being cozied up under a blanket with a glass of wine, just enjoying your own company! After all, I do believe the best company is your own!

Pamper, pamper, pamper!

On your way to getting cozy, how about a night made just for pampering yourself? A nice hair mask, body scrub, soak, etc., is well deserved and will give great relief, especially since the hectic holidays are behind us!

Do An Activity You Love

Am I the only one that finds difficulty in taking time to do things that I love the most? Whether it be reading a book, making jewelry, or playing in your closet, set some time aside to treat yourself to doing what you LOVE and what makes YOU happy! This does not have to be much time either – just a simple hour or two for you!

Get Some R-E-S-T!

Valentine’s Day is when we think about getting in the sheets and well….you know. No ma’am! Dedicate this time to YOU getting the rest you DESERVE! Our sleep is something so overlooked and one of the keys to success when it comes to our health. In all forms, I believe. Whether it be your mental, physical, or emotional health, good rest is a great way to reset and refresh yourself. After a good pamper, hit the sheets, early ladies!

Date Night | Be Your Own Valentine’s

Our own company seems to be the one that we are the most bothered by. Why is that? Is it because we are stuck in our heads thinking about our to-do list, mistakes, work, pressures, etc.? There is nothing wrong with getting dolled up and taking yourself out on a night on the town!

Call an Uber and go enjoy your time alone. If you find your mind wandering (as I tend to do), ground yourself again to remind yourself that this is your HAPPY time and it will be peaceful. If you are just a busy babe upstairs, bring a journal and jot down those thoughts! Sometimes we do not even have enough time in our days to really think and this time is a great time to focus on those personal goals!
