SEPTEMBER is Teal Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Organic-Cures is in for the cure…in more than one way!!
My friend, Cambrey Rogers, is a mommy who was passionate about reducing the number of chemicals in her home accidentally started Organic-Cures. She began exploring how to make her own products when she learned about the benefits of essential oils in 2013. The more she learned, the more she found that she could replace products that were being used in her home and on her family with natural organic handcrafted options. Everything you see at Organic-Cures is handcrafted in small batches by Cambrey for you. She sources only the best ingredients from other companies who are as passionate as she is about the products they put on the market. Everything they put into their products is organically made in the USA and they believe is the best of what’s out there.
This month Organic-Cures is partnering with a local foundation called Judy’s Mission, to raise money for the fight against Ovarian Cancer. I love the beautiful teal colors of the soaps and bath products. I am also all over the cellulite smoothing scrub!!! There are several other products like the cuticle cream, laundry soap, lip balm, diaper cream and more that I have not pictured here, but just head on over to Organic-Cures and check it out for yourself.
Ladies and gentlemen, this message speaks to each and every one of us and I am sure that you all know of someone who has ovarian cancer. So join the fight for the cure for ovarian cancer by either making a donation to judysmission.org or you can click on the link to Organic-Cures and 15% of your purchases during the month of September will be donated to this very worthy cause.
The Judith Liebenthal Robinson Ovarian Cancer Foundation (“Judy’s Mission”) was created to honor Judith Liebenthal Robinson, Ph.D. (“Judy”), a NASA scientist, who despite habitual exercise, a consistently healthy diet, and regular medical examinations, was diagnosed with advanced stage ovarian cancer and died within a year. While battling ovarian cancer, Judy determined something must be done to raise awareness regarding the vague signs and symptoms and ineffective screening tools for ovarian cancer. Thus, the JLR Foundation was conceived. Judy believed strongly that women need to become better advocates for their health, but, as a scientist, she also believed physicians need more awareness and sensitivity to the critical nature of early diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The JLR Foundation was founded November 16, 2010.
The JLR Foundation’s mission is to educate women and the medical community on the signs, symptoms and the critical nature of early diagnosis of ovarian cancer and to fund research for effective screening and treatment of ovarian cancer. Go to judysmission.org for more information on how you can contribute.
