This message is from a place that I can hardly describe. First of all, I am so thankful for being alive as well as my family and extended family, however, there are thousands that cannot say this and that is what makes me the saddest….. but in the end, there are nuggets for us all to be thankful for, we just have to look closer because they are there. So, today on Thanksgiving I will share some thankful nuggets of mine even in strained times.
SOME THINGS I AM THANKFUL FOR
I am so thankful that Norman and I still have businesses and a big turkey on the table. So far our health is good even though COVID is closing in on us more and more. In these times I find myself thanking God every day for my blessings but my real prayers are for the millions of people wanting to work but can’t and families that have lost loved ones due to this ugly virus. There are so many without jobs and find themselves in the food line for the first time. I am donating this week to a local food bank. It’s not much but every $5 can go so far. If you
My thankful list goes on and on ….
Also Thankful for….
- My relationship with Jesus Christ. I could not get through some days without holding his hand through my days.
- Norman, my husband of 27 yearS provides and protects me and that I am so grateful for.
- I was raised by 2 amazing parents that I miss so much. I am so thankful they brought me into this world.
- Ginger and Stacy, my younger sisters, and their families bring me so much joy. For the first time in over 40 years, I will not be seeing them for our annual trip to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. We made the call to stay home and play it safe during these COVID times.
- Pets have also brought me so much Joy. I am so thankful for Dexter and now Miss Pippa. Dexter was the “man” and Pippa is the little sassy lady. If you have or have had pets then you know how they all have different personalities.
- Friendships are a must in my life and I have been so blessed to have so many friends. Even though I don’t see many of them often they still hold a special place in my heart.
So as I give thanks on this Thanksgiving day, I find myself with a heavy heart and praying so hard for this world crisis we are dealing with to end very soon. Until then I will continue to look for the nuggets to be thankful for. Just know that one of the biggest nuggets is the gift of YOU! Thank you for your continued support of the SheShe Show. My team and I appreciate you so much!
SHESHE’S TIDBITS
As you know, we canceled our annual trip to Tennessee. As it turns out, it was a good thing because Norman and I have been exposed to COVID 19 by our housekeeper. We both tested negative but we still need to social distance. I love and miss my sisters so much and I cannot tell you how sad this makes me, but better to not take any chances. Are you guys starting to feel the stress of COVID, the election, and the state of our country like I am? I am mostly a very happy stable person but not feeling so good lately. Praying so hard that this will ALL be over soon. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week wherever you are able to be. XO, SheShe

I will always show off my cowboy boots. They are a part of my fiber!! Some bloggers have no originality. They all copy each other. Thanks for your comment! I do appreciate it!
