We still have a lot of winter left and especially in the north part of the nation, so we have rounded up the best boots and booties in several styles. These boots we selected are in all price ranges, styles and brands. As of today’s writing the stock is still good, but don’t wait long because they are selling out fast!
I have worn boots of all styles since I was in high school. (early 70’s) I can remember one of my favorite pair that I had in college was a grey leather with a chunky heel. I thought they were the coolest boots ever! The latest styles of this season so remind me of those boots. The great thing about today’s trends is any style goes. I love the low chunky heel because it provides that comfort over the higher heeled boots, but if I need to pull off a sexy glam look, then I step in to my Highland Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots that are actually on sale.
It rains a lot in Houston and my pink Hunter rain boots go with so many of my outfits…..since I love pink!! I also have some older Ralph Lauren riding boots that will never go out of style. They were an investment but still love them after 5 years. These Ralph Lauren’s riding boots are this years style. No brand does it better than Ralph!
As you know, we have a river ranch in Montrose, Colorado, so I need my warm outing boots when we go there in the winter. I bought these Sorel Joan of Arc waterproof boots last year and they carried this style on into this year. It is a classic boot for sure and they are soooo warm, comfy, waterproof and very stylish.
This year, I have worn booties more than any other style of boot. They are easy to throw on and they still work with some dresses. This suede bootie has been my favorite and they come in a 3 colors. I have them in the Granite Peak and the Sedona.
So, there you have it, our best and favorite boots and booties. If you are thinking of adding to your collection, then now’s the time because so many of our picks are on sale!!

SHESHE’S SHOWCASE
New plans for 2018 SheShe Show posts…..
- On Tuesday’s and/or Wednesday’s, we will be doing SheShe’s Showcase. We will have lots of fashion, travel, home and collaborations with brands and also includes beauty.
- We will be continuing Weekend Wanderings on Saturdays with all kinds of good stuff. Great reads, sports, current events and more are just a few topics. We hope you are enjoying some of our weekend posts.
