Just a quick post to first of all wish you all a very Happy 4th of July and secondly to share with you this adorable red, white and blue dress by Eliza J dresses!! It is the perfect outfit of the day for this very special day!!
What are you all doing today? Well, we have a sunset sail off Sanibel Island planned this evening to watch the fireworks from the water. We will be able to see most all of the fireworks up and down the coast of South Florida. They are calling for evening thunderstorms, so we will see.
Our captain is smoking a large salmon and the rest of us are filling in with veggies, dips, watermelon, and sips. If it is a washout, we will just head back to the house and hang out. It is all about being with friends and family and celebrating our freedoms.

My dress today by Eliza J is the perfect summer dress for many occasions. Several of the styles also come in plus sizing. It almost has a retro feel to it, don’t you think? I am feeling a little like Jackie Kennedy hanging out at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, MA. on a 4th of July back in the 50’s. Jackie would wear a small pearl earring instead of the large statement ear. Either works depending on your style.
I also love this dress that is similar in style and this one.
