I have received catalogs from the retailer J. Jill for many years and now they have retail stores all over the country. They are great at offering classic, well-made clothing at affordable prices. What I didn’t know is that they also are great at giving back to women in need.
I get asked to donate my time and money a lot to various non-profit organizations. Unfortunately, I cannot help every deserving charity but when the organization is helping disadvantaged and homeless women then I am on board if at all possible. After all, this is the year of the woman…right?
J.Jill will host its annual Compassion Fund event tomorrow September 20th in all stores and provide 5% of the day’s sales as a charitable donation to the J. Jill Compassion Fund (up to $30,000). Founded in 2002, the J.Jill Compassion Fund is committed to providing support to community-based organizations that help disadvantaged and homeless women become self-sufficient through programs that focus on education, job training, life skills, and safe affordable housing.
Today, I am helping by sharing this opportunity with all of my sweet readers. If you live in Houston, J. Jill has a store at Baybrook Mall, Memorial City Mall, River Oaks Shopping Center, the Galleria, First Colony, The Woodlands and Cinco Ranch. If you are in the US then just google J.Jill locations and it will list the store closest to you. Fall is on our heels so this would be a great time to shop J.Jill and you too can help a woman get back on her feet.
