Fall is right around the corner and I am all about taking my favorite items in my closet and transitioning them season to season! Especially something as easy as a jumpsuit! They say every woman needs a little black dress but I think every woman needs a little black jumpsuit! Today we are focusing on transitioning your black jumpsuit into the cooler seasons.
THE JUMPSUIT
The jumpsuit has been around for ages and is always a classic. Not only is it one of the most versatile pieces to own it is also so comfortable! Two of my favorite things. With Fall right around the corner, we are so excited to share the ways to transition a little black jumpsuit into the fall.
TRANSITIONING A JUMPSUIT
Often times we forget that we have such great pieces in our closet that we can add on to rock season to season. For sure the jumpsuit is a favorite of mine for a few reasons.
- They are kind of like pajamas.
- Still light enough to wear on to the next season.
- Super easy to mix and match different fabrics and patterns
That’s just naming a few! Read on below for our simple ways to rock it year-round!
TIPS
- Layer – Don’t be afraid to layer under or over your jumpsuit! Right now I’m talking about layering under your jumpsuit. During Summer layer a jumpsuit like this one with a cute T-shirt and come Fall through Winter a long sleeve or turtleneck is oh so cute!
- Add a Jacket – Adding a jacket will definitely transition your Summer look into Fall ready. Leather jackets, denim jackets, and moto jackets never fail!
- Belt It! A nice chunky belt at the waist is a fab way to accessorize your jumpsuit.
- Blazers – Blazers are a great way to make any outfit feel more professional but also a nice way to give your jumpsuit more of a Fall look.
- Booties – Switching from a sandal heel and going with a bootie is another great way to transition. Make sure to pay attention to the type of heel on the bootie depending on the length and style of the jumpsuit.
