Laundry Room Refresh + Essentials

Laundry, everyone’s favorite chore…just kidding. This task is so daunting for me but necessary. I was recently looking at my laundry room and decided it needed a refresh. Today we are covering great ways to refresh and make your laundry room work better!

Invest In Organizing

I believe everything is easier when it is organized. You will need to invest in this but it is so worth it. If you do not have much counter space then you can organize your drawers for easier access. I love these plastic bins.

Show Off Those Laundry Supplies

Most laundry products do not come in attractive packaging. With that being said, transfer these items (detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softeners, etc.) into eye-pleasing containers. To really make it more organized add some labels to the containers. Here we have super cute ones!

Add More Laundry Storage

You can always maximize your space by ADDING more storage. Getting slim shelves for those tight spaces and attaching shelves to the inside of your cabinet doors is a great way to add more storage.

Create A Folding Table

If you have a front load washer/dryer, add a shelf above to create a folding table. Now, this is really maximizing your space! Usually, you can build one for less than $100. What a fun DIY! We also love that there is a slender rolling cart added here. If you aren’t really into the idea of the folding table on top of your machine this one goes over it and has shelves!

March is a big month around my house because we have 5 birthdays within a week’s time….including mine on the 8th. Tonight, some of our family that live in our area are going to an upscale well-known restaurant called Perry’s Steakhouse and Grill. Monday, on my birthday we will be traveling to Sanibel where we are dining with close friends at another favorite restaurant on Captive Island called the Old Captiva House. Needless to say, I am getting in my exercise this weekend to compensate for all of the extra calories. Anybody else have a March Birthday? We would love to know and give you a big shoutout!! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!
