Well, here we are celebrating another Christmas and feeling so blessed even though this wasn’t the best year. I will get into the downsides of our year later but today we just want to catch you up on our families and wish you a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
TRAVEL
We did several trips to Sanibel the first half of the year. I recently went down to access the conditions of our home on Sanibel that got hammered during Hurricane Ian. It has been 3 months and we still don’t have electricity. It is all so devasting but we are committed to rebuilding and helping the island come back better than ever!
PARIS
I went to Paris in early June for a luxury collaboration and boy oh boy was that an amazing trip! You can read that post here. How to Luxury Shop in Paris. I have been to Paris so many times and every time I go, I discover new places, shopping, and restaurants. Check out a few of these Paris experiences in the travel section in the menu bar above.
FAMILY
First of all, both sides of our families are overall healthy and good. Praise the Lord!!! Norman has had a lot of debilitating neck, hip, and foot pain that hasn’t been fun for him but he seeks out anything new that might help. He is a trooper though! The positive side is that nothing life-threatening.
I have been good this year health-wise. I had Covid last Christmas so Norman and I were home alone. Ugh! This year we are in Tennessee visiting my 2 sister and their families. No snow but like everywhere we are COLD! I am just so thankful to have a Tennessee Christmas in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains on Tellico Lake.
MY SISTERS AND THEIR FAMILIES
My sisters Ginger and Stacy in Tennessee each have 2 grown children and Ginger has 4 grandchildren ages 9 to 3. Anna Grace, Stacy’s miracle child just turned 17. It is hard to believe! She has fallen in love with acting and she has had many parts this past year in a local theatre company. Caroline is 25 and just moved to Knoxville to be closer to her work and friends. She is in no hurry to the altar.
NORMAN’S FAMILY
Suzanne and Trey are spending a lot of time in Austin. Trey opened an official Ranchland Realestate office in Dripping Springs. They also became our Longhorn suite partners this year for Texas football games. We had a lot of fun! Clayton and Gabrielle, as well as Carson, are also living in the Austin area. At this time Norman and I have no intentions of getting a place there. We are trying to downsize these days so we will be piling in on the kids. Ha Ha!
MISS PIPPA
Our little precious Toy Fox Terrier, Pippa, will be 10 years old on New Year’s Eve. She is just the sweetest and has brought Norman and me so much joy. Hopefully, she will be with us for several more years. She is an Instagram Influencer now starring in a couple of campaigns for SheShe Show. This one for Bravecto was really cute. She knows what to do on cue!!
FINAL THOUGHTS 2022
As we close out 2022 I am thinking about my resolutions and what I want to do in 2023. Stay tuned for my yearly report card next weekend! For me, it is always enlightening.
We hope you are all healthy, and happy and wish you the best of this Christmas season. Let us rejoice for the King has been born. Joy to the World…..Hallelujah….Hallelujah
Just let us know of any prayers you need and we are on it! God Bless You ALL!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

XOXO, SheShe
For Norman’s neck and other pain issues, I highly suggest researching and trying red light therapy. I use it for various pain issues (it’s amazing for anti aging / collagen production too!) and I’ll attest that it does give pain relief. I have full body sessions at a med spa but I also purchased a viable unit for home use.
Both Dr. Dray and Penn Smith (on YouTube) have videos to confirm the science data. I am allergic to any / all pain meds so it’s been a life saver for me.
P.S. Recently discovered your blog, love it! Next time you are in Key West be sure to shop Besame Muco (besamemucho.net) best sop in the Keys!
Happy New Year! 😊
