Ringing In 2016 With Thankfulness

I hope everyone had a great and safe New Years Eve!!

Today I am ringing in 2016 with thankfulness. I put my black eyed peas on this morning to make this 1st day of 2016 a great start to this new year. I would imagine that most of you have football on TV wherever you are. I am a big college football fan so I am in football heaven today, especially since my Tennessee Vols just put a good ole fashion whoopin’ on Northwestern! Yeah Rocky Top Tennessee!! We have been in a long drought, so Vol fans are very optimistic about the 2016 football season.

2015 was a very busy year and I have mostly accomplished what I set out to do. I am really grateful for so much, but I want to take this time to THANK YOU for following along with me on SheSheShow. I have worked very hard this year to bring you a variety of subject matter and I am planning so much more for you in 2016. I have an all new look for www.shesheshow.com, branding my platform with my flamingo logo. I am still tweaking a few things but I hope you like the new look and format. I would love to have you engage in dialog with me in the comments box on any post that you like or have opinions on. It helps me to get to know you and in choosing my subject matter.

So to kick off this year, Miss Pippa and I have one final holiday look for you. I wanted to do a favorite look of mine by creating a high/low look using a casual cable sweater (on sale ) mixed with a sequin skirt. I know this goes against the (traditional styling) grain for many of you, but think out of the box and have some fun this year with your wardrobe. My skirt is from a past season, so I linked similar sequin skirts as well as a couple of lame skirts. I also especially love my new Kate Spade box handbag that is now on sale. All of these pieces are great wardrobe staples all winter long, as they can be styled in so many ways!
