Black is such a classic and sophisticated color! I am a lady that loves all things colorful, so black is not a color I am seen in often. With that being said I still love an all-black look and have featured my favorites below!
Outdoor and Athleisure in Black
Athleisure has always been popular and we can all agree we love it. Colorful athleisure is great but a classic black set is always better! It’s more sophisticated and much more flattering. I love anything that makes me look slimmer and hides those pesky bulges! These Getaway Joggers are a must-have and best seller!
Dressy Black
We all know that a little black dress will NEVER go out of style and I agree. A classic black dress is feminine, powerful, and a wardrobe staple. Pictured is this chic silky top from Chico’s Black Label collection and these Levi’s that I actually cut off a few inches at the ankle and had altered!
Business Black
Every powerful woman has lots of go-to black in her closet. One thing I will say that I think every woman should own and is a great investment is a fabulous blazer. This Veronica Beard Scuba Jacket is high in price but worth every penny. You won’t ever see a blazer go out of style so why not spend the money to have one to wear year after year and fits like a charm? If you’re not ready to take that plunge then this blazer from Express is budget-friendly and has a similar look!

I haven’t ever had many black swimsuits, but I noticed this year that I have purchased quite a few! I LOVE this one from Target. One great thing about black swimsuits is how flattering they are and sophisticated. That’s a win-win in my book.

SHESHE’S TIDBITS
We have had a couple of weeks home but now I am packing again for a trip back to Sanibel Island. Later in the month is our annual lobster fishing trip to The Keys. We went last year for the first time and enjoyed it so much si we decided to go again with our boating friends. We just follow their lead!! I couldn’t catch those little lobster rascals so I let our captain get my allotment, but I did enjoy snorkeling around in the beautiful waters around the islands.
