Fourth of July Dresses
Dresses are always great, especially in summer! Maxi dresses in particular are a must! This red maxi is cool and laid back and this striped dress from MANGO is not only perfect for the Fourth but all summer long! It is definitely light cotton and can be thrown on over a swimsuit as well.

There are so many festive tops for the 4th, the sweater I am wearing is perfect! While it is a sweater this top is perfect for the weather! It is lightweight and even makes for a perfect swimsuit cover-up! This top is slightly elevated and pairs well with some jeans like these!
Shorts + Pants
July is a very hot month, at least it is here in Texas! With that being said, I love cute shorts (this is a fave), and if you are not a shorts girl then these are perfect for a hot day! I love that these jeans are cropped and are distressed enough to be modest and breezy at the same time.
Shoes
When I think about the 4th and fashion I think about comfort. Especially when it comes to my shoe of choice. On this day we spend a lot of time outside and a lot of time on our feet! So a cute sandal like this one (this one is super-patriotic), or a sneaker (I love this one), or even a cute espadrille, is perfect for this day.

SHESHE’S TIDBITS
We are home and recovering from a week of moving out of our home in Colorado. I shed many tears but all is good, we were ready to make this change. Norman and I both still have are our wonderful memories of our 27 years in the Montrose, CO. area, which is a blessing! Next up is a trip to Maryville, TN to visit my sisters and their families over the 4th of July. They both have lake homes side by side so you know where we will all be celebrating our great nation. I just might have to learn how to surf behind their boat. Stay tuned……
