If you only pick up a few items from this year’s Nordstrom Sale, go with my “must-haves” below…
FASHION
There are some great classic tie-neck blouses available and I love this on-trend rust slip dress!
Cardigans are great for transitioning between seasons; cropped cardigans are particularly IN this year. I also have my eyes on this ultra light-weight Barefoot Dreams cardigan and this classic, yet chunky cropped cardigan in gray, white or baby pink to style this upcoming fall.
JACKETS + BLAZERS
One of my favorite items to buy look for in this sale is a designer blazer or score a cool blazer at a great buy. Here are a few that are still available that are worthy of your dollars if they fit your lifestyle. Wear them to work, to church to lunch over a gown or with your jeans.
DENIM + BOTTOMS
Denim is where I like to spend my money. Designer and luxury denim is worth every penny and this is your last chance to get it at its best price! These 7 For All Mankind Dojo Ultrahigh Waist Jeans and Lightwash Crop Wide Leg Jeans are two of my faves!
SHOES
The cult-favorite 42Gold Glee Platform Sneakers we have all been OBSESSED with are on the sale for $79 (originally $120)!!! Don’t you just LOVE the annual Nordstrom Sale?!

BEAUTY
Like I mentioned in our last blog post, if I had to choose only 5 items from the Nordstrom Sale, one would include the RIKI 5X Skinny Lighted Mirror – a bright LED mirror with magnifying and phone-clip attachments so you can do detailed looks or take selfies and videos—no filter needed. The lighting is AMAZING, worth every dollar, and makes for a great gift!! The Nordstrom Sale is the time to BUY IT!
I think you can never go wrong picking out beauty products that are on sale! They are something we use often if not every day! You can never go wrong with La Mer products and these great La Mer Gift sets which are perfect for gifting for birthdays and Christmas!
INTIMATES AND SLEEPWEAR
Every year I stock up on my favorite lace thong panties by Hanky Panky. Are you still wearing granny panties? Ha Ha…. Of course there are times when I do but when I took the plunge into a thong style panty about 18 years ago it was a game changer. The brand Hanky Panky was how I did with a little patience getting used to the feel. Once you do, you will be happy you did.
This year I bought the Retro High Waist Thong, a slightly different stye to try out. We will see….. As far as bras go, I always buy a couple of new ones by Natori and Chantelle. I usually go for the smooth cup t-shirt style bras. Regularly around $70-$78 now $46.90-$51.90. If you wash your bras in a mesh bag, then they will last for years!!!! Worth the investment for sure and they feel so good!
